Supported combination reference
These are total multipliers applied to your weight-adjusted unmutated input. Normal uses the environmental stack directly; Gold and Rainbow apply their growth factors. No unsupported effect is included. On narrow screens, scroll the table horizontally.
| Environment | Normal | Gold | Rainbow |
|---|---|---|---|
| None | 1× | 20× | 50× |
| Wet | 2× | 40× | 100× |
| Chilled | 2× | 40× | 100× |
| Frozen | 10× | 200× | 500× |
| Shocked | 100× | 2,000× | 5,000× |
| Wet + Shocked | 101× | 2,020× | 5,050× |
| Chilled + Shocked | 101× | 2,020× | 5,050× |
| Frozen + Shocked | 109× | 2,180× | 5,450× |
Two different jobs
The calculator separates one growth choice from an environmental stack. Normal, Gold and Rainbow are alternatives in this tool. Each selected environmental mutation contributes an addition above one shared baseline. The community source notes explain the evidence and the limits of this small selection.
Start the environmental stack at 1. For every selected label, add its stated multiplier minus 1. Wet or Chilled contributes 1, Frozen contributes 9, and Shocked contributes 99. With no environmental selections, the stack remains 1 rather than dropping to zero.
Work through Wet plus Shocked
Use a hypothetical unmutated value of 100, Normal growth, Wet and Shocked. Multiplying the two environmental labels as 2 × 100 would create 200×. The implemented model instead gives:
Estimated value = 100 × 1 × 101 = 10,100 Sheckles
The “minus 1” terms avoid counting the shared baseline twice. If you use the equivalent form “1 + sum of multipliers − number of selected environments,” count only the environmental selections. The separate Gold or Rainbow choice does not belong in that count.
Some labels represent replacement states
The normal Wet / Chilled / Frozen relationship described by the community reference is a transition to Frozen. Garden Ledger therefore allows one of these three labels at a time. It rejects incompatible selections instead of quietly changing the scenario.
For a Frozen crop, choose Frozen and clear Wet and Chilled. Do not include both earlier labels as extra bonuses. The source also records historical exceptions; this calculator does not model bugs or legacy combinations. If your visible crop cannot be represented by these choices, the estimate is incomplete.
The marginal change is often the useful number
Moving from Wet to Frozen changes the environmental contribution from 1 to 9: an increase of 8. With the base and growth choice fixed, the value increase is base × growth × 8. That lets you isolate the effect of this one change without rebuilding the whole expression.
For a base of 100 and Gold, Wet alone gives 4,000 and Frozen alone gives 20,000. The difference is 16,000. Add Shocked to both scenarios and their totals become 202,000 and 218,000; the difference is still 16,000.
The relative gain is different. A move from 4,000 to 20,000 is a 400% increase, while 202,000 to 218,000 is about 7.92%. A large mutation already in the stack makes the same additional contribution a smaller share of the total. These are hypothetical calculations, not measurements of gameplay.
Growth multiplies the complete stack
Once the environmental stack is calculated, multiply it by the growth choice. Frozen plus Shocked produces a 109× environmental stack. Gold makes the total 2,180×; Rainbow makes it 5,450×. For the same base and environmental stack, Rainbow’s model result is 2.5 times Gold’s.
This ratio compares supported scenario values. It does not describe the chance of obtaining Rainbow, the time required or the return on buying an item. The calculator has no probability or availability model.
Read errors without changing the question
An incompatible-selection error means the chosen state cannot be represented here. An unsupported mutation cannot be approximated simply by selecting a different label with a similar-looking name. Check the crop’s complete labels and return to a supported scenario, or use the actual in-game quote for that crop.
For a repeatable demonstration, enter 100, Gold, Wet and Shocked: the model result is 202,000. Replace Wet with Frozen to obtain 218,000. Use the multiplier-change table to see this +160× change without a base value, or the comparison page to keep two different base assumptions visible at once.
